CUSTOM SHIRTS
custom shirts
I find most custom shirts fall between a 1 to 3 color print. The amount of colors used can depend on the shirt color(s) you choose. We can go over the design and colors together to determine what will suit you and your budget.
Custom Pantone colors can also be used if you need a specific print color for your design.
SIMULATED PROCESS PRINTING
Simulated Process is used when you have a design with multiple colors going on a dark shirt.
These prints can only use 3 to 4 colors, but still produce a wide variety of shades and tones.
3 Color Print - 36 pc Minimum / 4 - 5 Color Print - 48pc Minimum
It needs to be discussed if these will go on multiple color items as the artwork is normally designed to use some of the color of the shirt it’s being printed on.
If this is being used on fleece (hoodie or crew neck) be aware that there may be a shift in the design colors from the tees due to the openness of the fleece material.
In this breakdown of a simulated process print. The combination of red next to yellow gives the appearance of orange. These are opaque inks and the red and yellow are small dots next to each other.
FULL COLOR PROCESS PRINTING
Full Color Process printing works best on light colored shirts and is not suitable for fleece.
Best for photorealistic images.
It can be used on dark color tees but requires the use of a white ink underbase for the colors to print on.
48 pc Minimum for Process Printing.
